Talent and passion are two important characteristics that our Pros all have in common. Our newest addition to the sales team, Luc Lemieux is no exception to this rule. His knowledge of the industry and background in Motorsports make him a valuable asset to our company. He helps manage our e-commerce initiatives and during business hours is the one managing the live chat on our website.
What is your work background and what led you to work at The Forklift Pro?
I have a diverse background in Motorsports for both hobby and profession. I spent a lot of time in a high end fabrication shop building race chassis and suspension parts, until my passion for all things mechanical eventually lead me to equipment sales.
How do you help solve customers’ problems (or what do you do that contributes to solving client problems)?
I like to help customers by truly understanding what they need out of their equipment. I feel that putting myself in the customer’s shoes and using the knowledge I’ve obtained over the years, we can both find a solution together.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
What I enjoy most is meeting new customers, learning about their industries, and of course driving big equipment around the shop!

What do you like to do outside of work? Any hobbies?
If you see me outside of work I’ll be most likely be in the garage working on something, at the lake, or relaxing with friends and family. My hobbies are really any type of extreme sport.
What’s your top tip for people working in this industry in a similar role?
Strive to understand the equipment as well as or better than the person operating it.
