His keen listening skills and knowledge of the industry make him a valuable asset to our company. He serves our international customer base and helps them fulfill their MHE objectives.
What is your work background and what led you to work at The Forklift pro?
My background is in international sales and for the last ten years, the scrap metal recycling industry.
How do you help solve customers’ problems (or what do you do that contributes to solving client problems)?
It’s been my experience that the best thing I can do for my customer is LISTEN. So much of sales is about telling or showing folks what they need. If you take more time to listen, I have found that the end result is a happier customer, and just as important, a repeat customer.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love meeting people. There are some real characters in the forklift business. Every day is something new.
If you were to summarize The Forklift Pro, you would say:
Fast paced, great people, fun work environment.
What do you like to do outside of work? Any hobbies?
Play guitar, surf, tennis, golf, boats – pretty much anything that gives me an excuse to be outside.
What’s your top tip for people working in this industry in a similar role?
Run to the fire. If there is a problem, call the customer immediately to resolve.
